Thousands Of Cattle Reportedly Dumped Into Kansas Landfill After Dying From Extreme Heat

After a heatwave across the U.S., temperatures in Kansas hit over 90 degrees Fahrenheit.

Due to this extreme heat, thousands of cattle passed away and were disposed of. Beef companies had the cattle carcasses flattened and mixed with household trash in landfills across the state.

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment counted over 2,000 cattle being disposed of this way.
