Residents of Plattekill, NY are requesting the release of a study that put their town on a list for a new landfill.
The study, completed in early 2022, determined the only viable locations for the landfill were in Plattekill. Agency officials said the report was still in the draft phase and unavailable to be release publicly.
The town is the site of a former landfill, which officials alleged "continues to be a threat."
