On June 7, a town meeting regarding a set of zoning projects took place in the Pagosa area. The projects discussed included a proposed RV park, and a development called "Pagosa Views." The latter construction proposal thought to increase the population by around 1,400 and multiply the number of people using roads, trash services, and water by roughly 25 times. The impacts this make on the communities public waste services makes itself a particularly poignant subject as commissioners attempt to predict pros and cons of the development.
