A British chemical manufacturer has challenged an ordinance in New Castle County, Delaware that limits landfill heights.

Croda filed the suit in 2020, and a judge recently upheld a lower court's decision requiring special use reviews for future industrial uses in areas zoned for heavy industry.

Waste Management previously filed suit against the county in 2019 for "rushing" the ordinance through council.
