Two years after a failed landfill expansion proposal, the company that operates Grand Central Landfill in Plainfield Township, Pa. is seeking more space once again.

The operators estimate that the site will reach its capacity in six years. The landfill typically services a 90-mile radius. The company is seeking to acquire 325 acres, with 211 of those acres zoned for the processing of solid waste.
