First responders reported to the area of St. Andrews Church after reports of smoke and fire. They located a mulch fire on the St. Mary's County Landfill.

On September 25th, first responders were called to St. Andrews Church Road in St. Mary's County on reports of smoke and fire. Once responders arrived, they located a fire on the property of St. Mary’s County Landfill. Tanker trucks were brought to the site with water to put out the fire. Traffic delays should be expected in the area due to the trucks.
