A Kentucky Court approved a plan to build a new 16.6-acre contained cell at the Daviess County landfill.

This new cell is the biggest expansion that the county has done and it will take approximately two years to complete. With the current permitted expansion space and the amount of trash the landfill is taking, it shouldn’t be until 2044 before more space is needed.
