Closed Escambia Landfill Causes Issue for Neighbors

 Escambia County officials are looking to protect residents from a nearby closed landfill. The landfill has not been in operation since 2008.

Rapid Management, who owns the site, has not put a cap over the property, which sits nearby several homes.

Those who live close to the landfill have increasingly complained about rats, snakes and other animals appear on their propety.
