Despite following recommendations by consultants to alleviate landfill stench, Bristol, Va.'s residents still are dealing with the odor.

City Manager Randy Eads has requested assistance from the EPA, state and federal authorities following issues with gas wells.

Eads does not see the odor being eliminated, but did seek additional funding and expert analysis.
