Beginning January 31, residents of Brown and Winnebago counties in Wisconsin will be able to take their solid waste to a new landfill. 

Following the completion of a "fluff layer," the landfill will accept building, commercial and industrial waste. The new facility opens just in time as nearby Outagamie County landfill has reached its end-life.
