Brent Coweta LLC has applied to annex 45 acres in Senoia, Ga. for a garbage transfer station.

Senoia City Council already has unanimously approved the project, sending the request to Coweta County to consider. The company has already begun working with nearby residents to determine the best access points once the transfer station is in service.

One council member asked if it was possible to have a public recycling facility at the site, something the city currently does not have. Residents voiced concerns about the amount of commercial development occurring in the area.
