Officials say they have not discovered the cause of a landfill fire at the Metro Park East landfill in Mitchellville, Iowa.

Crews from three other departments had to assist with putting out the blaze, which began on Tuesday night. Metro Waste Authority had its own crew truck in dirt and water to put out the blaze.
