GFL Negotiates on Seven Mile Landfill Expansion

Another series of proposals regarding the Seven Mile Landfill in Eau Claire, Wisc.

GFL has not budged on a deed restriction that will require the company to "expand protections under the sociological and property protection plan for future landfill growth."

GFL also pays a tonnage fee to the city of Eau Claire and nearby town of Seymour. Committee members proposed a tonnage fee of $3.35, but quickly dropped it to $2.20.
