The City of Conroe, Texas has announced it is switching its waste collection provider by signing a multi-year contract with Frontier Waste Solutions.

Conroe and Frontier, a Dallas-based waste solution provider, have entered into a $76 million five-year agreement. Frontier will take over waste collection for the city starting in October.

The contract will include new carts, bulk and brush service, an online portal for customer complaints, cart issues, and missed picks, and a phone app to receive service alerts. Frontier will also handle customer service calls, freeing Conroe city employees of that responsibility.
