EPA Awards Cooperative Agreements

Washington, D.C. — The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Washington, D.C., is awarding cooperative agreements this week to 30 community-based organizations nationwide to begin projects that address environmental and public health issues. Each organization will receive $100,000 over three years. The projects include efforts to address recycling, improper solid waste disposal, urban redevelopment, lead in drinking water, the safe use of pesticides, lead-based paint, toxic dust.
