Liebherr On Display
Liebherr shows off one of its latest loaders at WasteExpo.
McNeilus Pacific Series Ultra front loader features several new technologies and enhancements, such as slanted mid posts, aluminum canopy and a rounded hopper and body floor. The truck can take a payload up to GVW of 57,500 pounds.
Medium Wheel Loader
CAT's 950K medium wheel loader has gross power of 211 horsepower and an operating weight of 47,597 pounds. It was also one of the only pieces on display at WasteExpo that showed the equipment with trash.
Mack's Newest Piece
Mack previewed its LR series at WasteExpo. The new truck has increased side and forward visibility, standard power windows, door locks and LED lighting. It also has a lot of storage space for drivers. And it's computerized dash provides a host of information for drivers.
Mack's TerraPro features a 320 horsepower natural gas engine. The simple three way catalyst provides a certified and compliant 2010 emissions solution.
All the Features
Waste Pro showed off numerous features, including the fact that its CNG-powered loader has no rooftop tanks. The Hercules residential front loader has capacity up to 150 diesel gallon equivalent. It also has CNG tailgate technology. And a fall protection system protects operators working on the top of the truck.
Grabbing the Goods
The Palfinger Episilon crane can be mounted on a variety of different pieces of waste and recycling trucks to help with collection and handling.
Peterbilt's 320 has multiple cab configurations, standard air disc brakes, steer axle ratings up to 36,000 pounds, durable cab construction and the ability to accommodate a compressed natural gas engine.
