Globally, one third of the food produced each year goes to waste (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations).

Dutch designer, Elzelinde van Doleweerd wanted to prevent food waste. What started as a university project has now morphed into a company called Upprinting Food in conjunction with Vita Broeken.
