American Farm Bureau Federation Launches No Taste for Waste Campaign

In an effort to help farmers reduce food waste, the American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF), in collaboration with Land O’Lakes SUSTAIN, Valent BioSciences Corporation, FLM Harvest, CropLife Foundation and Meredith Agrimedia, has launched the No Taste for Waste campaign.

The campaign features an interactive website, a special edition bookazine filled with food waste statistics, recipes and meal planning tools and social media resources for consumers who are interested in reducing household food waste and for farmers and ranchers who are looking to combat food loss in their fields.

“Farmers and ranchers are leading the charge toward greater efficiency and less waste in our food system, from field to fork,” said AFBF President Zippy Duvall in a statement. “By adopting technology in our fields and new farming practices, we are reducing waste while producing high-quality, healthy food.”
