Check out some of the latest innovations in technology on display at WasteExpo.

Over the last several years, the waste and recycling industry has ramped up the adoption of new technologies to help streamline business operations at a fairly rapid pace. And this year’s WasteExpo, held May 6-9 in Las Vegas, will showcase much of the industry's latest developments in technology.

From a new 49,000-square-foot technology center to dumpster monitoring software and the latest in apps, map-based dispatch and live container tracking, the technology innovations on display this year aim to help users troubleshoot problems in real time and reduce their overall downtime. And in the era recycling market disruption caused by China’s National Sword, it is more important than ever for the industry to refocus on reducing contamination and identifying value in the recycling chain.

Be sure to hit the show floor in between sessions to check out products from some of the industry’s leading providers. Until then, flip through this gallery for some of the latest innovations in technology that will be on display at WasteExpo.
