The data you can collect at material recover facilities can be overwhelming. This session will specifically explore how counting material on the belt down to the object level provides powerful new insight into CO2e recovery and MRF profitability by assessing waste composition, equipment performance, packaging behavior, and deployment of labor resources. Until now, we have depended on weight-based aggregate measuring which does not get us to the next level of resource recovery. With the right technology and data driven decision support systems, higher recovery rates and greater CO2e capture is a near-term reality for all MRFs.
