Article-White Cloud Partners with Big Green Box for E-Cigarette Battery Recycling

White Cloud Electronic Cigarettes has partnered with Big Green Box to institute a battery recycling program for its products.

The Tarpon Springs, Fla.-based maker of electronic cigarettes said in a news release.

Its customers can recycle their rechargeable electronic cigarette batteries and Fling disposable e-cigarettes with the help of the federally approved recycling company, Big Green Box, based in Anaheim, Calif.

The number of e-cigarette users worldwide is rising, the company said, and it will quickly become critical that electronic cigarette users recycle.

In addition to the environmental benefits, the move also ensures that White Cloud meets U.S. Department of Transportation and United Nations packaging standards for disposing of electronic waste.

White Cloud is one of the first companies to produce a completely disposable electronic delivery product using lightweight food grade Bisphenol A (BPA)-free thermoplastics.
