FCM Recycling Inc. has opened an electronic waste processing and recycling facility in Toronto.
The Lavaltrie, Quebec-based FCM said in a news release the new 40,000-sq.-ft. facility expands the company’s end-of-life electronics processing services to residential consumers, businesses, governments and provincial stewardship programs.
It is FCM’s sixth facility to provide e-waste, data destruction and information technology asset disposition (ITAD) services. It’s the company’s second location in Ontario, with the first in Cornwall. Together the Ontario facilities can provide service to more than 13 million residents.
