E-Waste Systems to Open Recycling Unit in Ohio

Article-E-Waste Systems to Open Recycling Unit in Ohio

E-Waste Systems Inc. will open an electronic waste recycling facility in Cincinnati.

The London-based E-Waste said in a news release that the e-waste recycling and reverse logistics operation will have the capacity to process up to 75 million pounds of e-waste annually.

The company is installing its recently acquired equipment, and the facility will open March 20.

The new building covers more than 50,000 square feet and will serve as the headquarters of the operating unit EWS Cincinnati, which also will manage a recently acquired facility in New York. The Cincinnati unit will become an operational hub for the Midwest, and the New York location will provide a footing for additional expansion in the Northeast for the company.

The Cincinnati facility has room for expansion, and E-Waste Systems plans to continually upgrade the facility.
