Mississippi Landfill Pays $19,000 Fine for Late Environmental Reports

A Jefferson County landfill is paying a $19,000 fine for submitting late monitoring reports.

Riverbend Environmental Service agreed to pay the fine to the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality. The 489-acre landfill is located south of Fayette.
