Electronic Recyclers International Inc. (ERI) will open a electronic waste recycling facility in September in Aurora, Colo., that will double the size of its current Denver facility.
The Fresno, Calif.-based ERI said in a news release that its new facility will cover 81,000 square feet. ERI signed a five-year agreement on the facility with an additional five-year renewal option.
“With the continuous growth of the electronic recycling and urban mining markets and the impending landfill ban on e-waste for the state, we need to grow to accommodate the needs of Colorado and the Rocky Mountain region,” said John Shegerian, ERI chairman and CEO.
