A new company will be picking up Park Ridge residents' trash beginning May 1, with the transition evident next month, officials said.
Public Works Director Wayne Zingsheim said the hauling company, Groot Industries, is expected to start delivering new refuse and recycling carts during the week of April 25. Old carts belonging to Republic Services, formally ARC Disposal, should be left curbside or in alleys for collection following regular pick-up during that week, a notice from the city said.
