The biggest game day of the year is approaching, and the city of Phoenix is making preparations to keep it clean during the festivities.
Republic Services is getting ahead of the game, working with officials to ensure waste diversion is at its peak during the big day. Separate recycling, compost and trash bins are being placed around locations for the Super Bowl Experience and other activities.
The company allowed local media to take a tour of its compost facility.
