Syracuse city is looking to modernize its waste collection services to keep up. In order to do this, the city is hoping to use an outside company, but not without paying a pretty penny. The current proposal requires a $577,333 budget to pilot the system with an outside company. Lawmakers in Syracuse are questioning the high price tag.
