Human Remains Found at Casella Transfer Station in New Hampshire

Sanitation workers recently discovered the deceased body of a 28-year-old female at a Casella transfer station in New Hampshire.

New Hampshire Department of Justice, in a statement, wrote:

On September 9, 2021, the Belmont Police Department responded to a waste transfer station in Belmont, and there found the deceased body of Jessica Lurvey (age 28). Ms. Lurvey's body had arrived at the transfer station among the contents of a disposal truck, and had been discovered when contents were being removed and separated.

On September 10, 2021, Deputy Chief Medical Examiner Mitchell Weinberg conducted an autopsy on Ms. Lurvey. Ms. Lurvey's cause and manner of death are pending further testing.

The investigation into the circumstances of Ms. Lurvey's death is ongoing. However, at this time there is nothing suspicious about her death.

Officials are investigating whether it is connected to another case.
