WasteExpo 2016 got off to a rousing start. Monday included a bevy of educational sessions, including sessions as part of the first Food Recovery Forum. There were also sessions on fleet and equipment technology, recycling, hauling, business development and composting and organics. The day also included the fourth annual Investor Summit. Moderated by Stifel Managing Director Michael E. Hoffman, the summit included 13 sessions featuring key executives from many of the industry's publicly-traded companies. The day was capped off with the Welcome Reception at the Marquee Nightclub & Dayclub at the Cosmopolitan Hotel.
