Why We Should Recycle Our Buildings

On a planet where resources and space are limited, we must be conscious of the full lifespan of the things we create. Of all the products humankind uses on a daily basis, buildings are one that takes up a lot of space, particularly after demolition. Buildings account for nearly 40 percent of the world's carbon emissions. To mitigate these problems, it is important to get the most possible use out of the buildings we create both during their useful lives and after.
