Philadelphia’s Solution to Combat Illegal Dumping Receives Mixed Reviews

After illegally dumping construction and demolition debris, Doug Evans of Evans Landscaping is being held to a tight timeline by the Ohio EPA. In the coming two months, Evans Landscaping will be expected to build one groundwater well, repair another, and start testing water quality near 4229 Round Bottom Road. By the end of November, the company will have to have the C and D waste removed from the ground and lastly, the company will build a cap over 4455 Mt. Carmel Road to keep water from contamination. All of this is accompanied by a $550,000 fine to Evans.
