Day three of WasteExpo has come to an end. Wednesday included the Environmental Research & Education Foundation's (EREF) charitable auction, a number of sessions on topics like technology, commodity predictions, safety, the next generation of the workforce, food waste, recycling and more.

At the auction, items for bid included golf outings with some of the top executives from the solid waste industry's publicly-traded firms and trucks and equipment from the industry's top manufacturers. There was also a truck that was raffled off and a number of other prizes.
