TFC’s trucks are under tremendous pressure, hauling 10,000 to 12,000 tons of recyclables a month under severe-duty, stop-and-start conditions and in an area where summer temperatures can exceed 100o Fahrenheit. In an effort to get the longest service life possible out of its 40 CNG trucks, TFC switched to Delo® 400 NG SAE 15W-40 – formulated specifically for natural gas engines – along with Delo ELC extended life coolant.
