Columbus zoning officials approved a special permit last night for company that has recycled asphalt shingles for years without the necessary permit. 

The Board of Zoning Adjustment agreed to give the permit to Roof to Road LLC at 894 Frank Rd. The Columbus City Council had approved a zoning variance for the company last year.
