Across the nation, catalytic converters are stolen from average people's cars.

Most recycling firms are aware of this and doing their part to only buy this part from reliable sources. Arrow Recovery has allegedly not made these preventative efforts. An investigation has been done on the firm to decide whether or not it appears they have been catering to the thieves.

The Fremont Police Department has stated since conducting the search warrant on the firm, the city has seen a drastic drop in stolen catalytic converter thefts, directing them to believe there is a correlation.
