Arlington, Texas —The American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE), Des Plaines, Ill., and the U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Washington, D.C., have announced an alliance intended to establish industry-specific guidelines for ergonomic programs. The guidelines are focused primarily on the prevention of repetitive motion disorders, which can damage the musculoskeletal system. For more information, visit the OSHA and ASSE websites:
