"An Awakening Giant," an article that appeared in the June issue of Waste Age, erroneously reported that Wheelabrator is permitting a new waste-to-energy plant in Frederick County, Md. In fact, Wheelabrator is still awaiting county approval to build the plant. Waste Age regrets the error.

The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality has awarded a nearly $30,000 grant to the city of Eugene to create a DVD promoting the reuse of building materials. Eugene has contracted BRING Recycling to produce and distribute the DVD.
