Program To Recycle Lottery Tickets Hits Jackpot

Westboro, Mass. — A program run by E.L. Harvey & Sons and the Massachusetts State Lottery to recycle non-winning lottery tickets has collected more than 50 tons of tickets during its first year of operation. The recycled tickets are used to make paper good such as tissue, toilet paper and napkins. Several collection events are scheduled throughout July and August.
