WasteExpo 2020 Rescheduled to August
WasteExpo has been rescheduled to August 10-13 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans.
Due to concerns surrounding coronavirus, or COVID-19, WasteExpo, North America’s largest solid waste, recycling and organics industry event, has been rescheduled from May 4-7 to August 10-13 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans.
The health and safety of the WasteExpo community is a top priority for the Waste360 brand, and after speaking to many partners, exhibitors, speakers and attendees, the overwhelming consensus was that moving the show was most prudent.
"The conversations we’ve had over the last few days have proven how lucky we are to be part of this supportive, tight-knit industry. As everyone has been reminding us, great things happen when the waste, recycling and organics community comes together and connects at WasteExpo," say Marc Acampora, show director of WasteExpo, and Mark Hickey, vice president of WasteExpo.
The WasteExpo team is now working through a comprehensive effort focusing on a managed postponement program to respond to the needs of the industry, the exhibitors, the attendees and all the other staff that work the shows during this challenging time.
In the coming days, the WasteExpo team will automatically transfer attendees' registration to the rescheduled event and will personally reach out to exhibitors to discuss and answer any immediate questions. For questions and concerns, please contact [email protected].
