Hawaii-Based Pelatron Plans to Develop Waste-to-Energy Projects Across the State

Honolulu-based Pelatron Q is planning to develop waste-to-energy power plants across Hawaii, with two projects already in the works, one each on Oahu and Kauai, the company’s project coordinator confirmed to PBN Friday.

On Oahu, Pelatron Q, which is part of Pelatron Inc., an engineering and technology development government contracting firm, is looking at developing a waste-to-energy plant on Department of Hawaiian Home Lands property with a capacity of up to 5 megawatts in Kalaeloa in West Oahu.
