Police are investigating a deadly industrial accident in the Holmesburg section of Philadelphia.
It happened before 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Waste Management facility in the 5200 block of Bleigh Avenue.
Sources tell Action News a 42-year-old man was crushed by a 2,000-pound bale of waste material.
Medics rushed the man to Aria Health/Torresdale, where he was pronounced dead at 8:24 a.m.
