Lane County, Ore., Launches Garbage Guru to Combat Confusion at the Bin

The online tool allows residents to type items into a search bar and find out whether or not they’re recyclable.

In an effort to combat confusion at the recycling bin, Lane County, Ore., has rolled out Garbage Guru, an online tool that allows residents to type items into a search bar and find out whether or not they’re recyclable.
