Re-Teck Brazil Earns Responsible Recycling Standard Certification

Re-Teck, a subsidiary of the Li Tong Group (LTG), has announced that Re-Teck Brazil has earned the Responsible Recycling Practices Standard (R2) Certification.

“Re-Teck adheres to the leading global standards and regulations as a commitment to being secure and sustainable,” said Linda Li, chief strategy officer at Re-Teck, in a statement. “The R2 certification reaffirms our shift toward a circular economy by allowing us to align with industry standards and focus heavily on the sustainable management and reuse of resources within our facilities.”

The R2 certification is a leading standard in the electronic recycling industry and helps ensure quality, transparency and environmental and social responsibility. Roughly 700 R2-certified facilities are operational in 30 countries.

R2-certified facilities emphasize resource management over resource recycling and prioritize extending the lifecycle of electronic devices while also reducing the environmental impact of those devices.
