Li Tong Group Announces Global Framework Agreement with VEON

Li Tong Group (LTG), a global provider of reverse supply chain management solutions, has announced an agreement with VEON, a telecom operator, providing connectivity and internet services, to manage unwanted telecom infrastructure assets.

The project hopes to improve the lifecycles of these assets by discovering new methods of reusing and repurposing them as well as providing guidance on proper disposal. The two companies have also created an online portal called the VEON SCM marketplace, where companies can track projects and manage inventory.

“The VEON SCM Marketplace will set a new industry standard,” said Paolo Benavides, business development director at LTG, in a statement. “It will change the way the industry manages telecom assets across operator groups while maintaining the highest environmental standards.”

The service has been implemented with three companies, and more will be added before the end of the quarter. The hope is that these efforts will help to keep valuable resources out of landfills.
