A Look at the Global Issue of Plastic Waste

In honor of World Environment Day and World Ocean Day last week, The Guardian addressed the issue of plastic waste via a series of snapshots. The photos in its gallery include garbage-eating cows, wildlife trapped in plastic and areas polluted with plastic bags.
