OSHA Publishes Recordkeeping Rule Reference

Washington, D.C. -- The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has published information on injury and illness recordkeeping based on the new rule that took effect Jan. 1, 2002. The reference helps employers to determine whether they are covered by the new recordkeeping rule, and explains the importance of injury and illness records, identifies basic recordkeeping requirements, highlights changes in the rule and includes a resource listing for additional information.

The publication is available on OSHA's website at www.osha.gov.
