Delaware Institutes Electronic Goods Recycling Program

Dover, Del. — The Delaware Solid Waste Authority (DSWA) has launched a statewide electronic goods recycling program for households and businesses. The program accepts goods such as computers, electronic typewriters, calculators, cell phones, facsimiles, answering machines, radios, televisions and VCRs. The DSWA expects 85 percent of the materials collected to be reused or recycled for parts, and less than 15 percent to be landfilled.
