Waste Connections Expands

Folsom, Calif. -- Waste Connections Inc. has announced it has signed or closed acquisitions with a total of $32 million in annualized revenue. The largest acquisition, which will close this month, is Mountain Jack Environmental Services, which operates in Idaho and Wyoming. The company also has completed the acquisition of Houston-based Waste Management’s collection operations in Vancouver, Wash., and has received a permit for the Plumb Thicket landfill in Harper Co., Kansas. The company expects construction will be completed by early 2006.

Waste Connections Inc. provides solid waste collection, transfer, disposal and recycling services in 22 states in the Western and Southern U.S.
