Exhibitors Generally Warm to Traffic at WasteExpo 2014

WasteExpo 2014 in Atlanta is now history, but reviews were generally good, based on a sampling of exhibitors.

“It was better than last year. Atlanta’s been popular (as a venue), and the economy is going better,” said Don Diego Padilla of FleetMind.

“It’s been good. we’ve had some good traffic,” said Angelo Caponi of Parker Hannifin Corp.  The exhibit took place April 29 to May 1.

Ingrid Adel of Fairbanks Scales noted the common decline in traffic on the exhibit floor after the first day. “Yesterday was good,” she said on Day Two of the expo. “Today is a little slower, especially in the afternoon. But we’ve gotten more leads so far than in New Orleans (site of last year’s WasteExpo).

“I want to thank all our exhibitors, partners and attendees for their great participation at WasteExpo this year and making it a smashing success,” said Warren Bimblick, senior vice president , strategy & business development for Penton, owner of WasteExpo and Waste360. “We look forward to seeing everyone in Las Vegas (site of WasteExpo 2015, June 1-4.)
